Lucy Rhodes loves fonts and pretty things.
She’s an author, a graphic designer and a sometimes content editor, whose clients range from business owners to academics to bestselling novelists.
Lucy once dreamed of being a teacher, until she realised that she didn’t actually want to spend her life doing homework. Instead, Lucy dove into corporate and nonprofit client service roles, a decade-long journey that ultimately led to her happy place: the world of storytelling.
She’s been inhaling books since before she started school, and probably needs to disable her Amazon one-click function. When she’s not reading, writing, or playing in Photoshop, you can find Lucy binge-watching episodes of Poirot, or gaming with her husband.
Mary Iamandi loves weaving between UK and USA spelling to create literary sentences full of colour (color?) for both her Australian and international audiences. She’s an editor and writer with over four years of experience — and a massive online following of nearly twenty thousand people. She knows what it takes to get your book noticed.
A ‘permanent student,’ Mary has educational backgrounds in psychology, ancient history, politics, theology, philosophy, and creative writing. After obtaining her Bachelor of Liberal Arts with a major in literature, she went on to attain her Graduate Certificate in Policy and Social Research as well as qualifications in professional writing, editing and proofreading.
Mary is passionate about storytelling and the publishing process from conception through to your book’s birthday. She has been approached with publishing deals for her own books, but her next step is to work with authors from around the globe and help them make their publishing dreams come true.
Melody Hall is a full-time study-slave (aka undergrad) and part-time guardian of aquatic invaders of the deep blue chlorine (aka lifeguard), but her true passion lies in books. From scouring her assigned school texts to drooling over eye-catching cover designs, she loves it all. She also loves wisecracks, sarcasm, sardonic humor, puns—anything resulting in tummy-stinging laughter. And foraging for food in the kitchen. When she’s not doing any of those things, Mel is glued to either her trusty Nikon, one of her cats, or Facebook.
For the past few years Mel has been voluntarily helping writers proofread their stories as well as making them bookish graphics. She can hardly believe that her interests are now turning into an opportunity to get hands-on experience in the industry she loves so much.
Aside from a career in books, Mel dreams of a future with a supportive partner, a couple of kids, and a passel of fur-babies.
An internship with Render Compose is just the beginning for Mel!
