Dear friends (and strangers),
Render Compose is closing.
As some of you know, I started Render Compose as a side hustle and a sort of personal wellness project following a break from the workforce for health reasons. The business itself spawned totally unexpectedly from my fanciful foray into cover design for myself and friends on Wattpad, and turned into so much more than I could have ever imagined. At its essence, RC was never really about a profit margin or industry domination—although it did allow me to travel (twice!) to the USA—so it’s with great joy and satisfaction that I reflect back on everything that I created: my art, achievements and relationships from the past several years outweigh the sadness of the end. I, so enormously, appreciate every single person that I have had the pleasure of working with and will always treasure what we created together and your impact on my life. Thank you for being a part of my life, my story, and for leaving me a better person than when you found me.
Moving forward, I am no longer accepting new clients or new projects from existing clients. If you and I are currently working on something right now then we’ll be finishing that. I’ll be closing the RC social media pages and website in coming days. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.
After the end is the happily ever after, which for me is writing. 2019 is the year I publish. I’ve tried balancing design and writing for the past several years and it just hasn’t worked. Since before I started designing, writing has been my ultimate goal and passion and it’s time to honour that.
I really wanted to make this short and sweet, but… it’s me, and I was born to write.
Thank you, again, for being here and for being a part of Render Compose. I sincerely wish you all the very best—both personally and professionally.
With much love,
